I'm curious. How does a fuel injector leakage problem keep a car from passing smog? I know that it usually leads to a flooding problem. I know in CA, where I live, this would not keep a car from passing, assuming that it would restart when you turned it off at the station. I'm not trying to insult you, I am just wondering if OR does things very differently then CA.

Thanks,

DJ

: I live in Oregon. I think the main reason it does not pass is because the fuel injectors leak. I have not removed anything from the car.

: For the sake of others that may be curious, since I don't need any more RX7's, what is it that keeps it from passing smog. Is it bad numbers on the sniff test or missing equipment? You might also want to mention what part of the country you live in, assuming this is in America.

: : : I have a 86 RX-7 that I need to sell. Car has 107K miles. It runs but does not pass smog. 5-speed, A/C.
