: Since here where i live in Florida they dont have any ,ore inspections im thinking of possibly removing the cats and the air pump. Question is will my 91 n/a work fine without the airpump and cats??? Also ive heard that n/a RX-7s sjoot out a ball of fire how could i do this without hurting my engine.
: any replies would be greatly appreciated

I don't recommend removing the air pump unless you plan to do something like Speedracer to open your 6-ports. For what it's worth leave it on. With no cats and free flowing exhaust you should shoot fire at high rpms. If you want, loosen up your dashpot so the throttle snaps back quickly (less time to burn off excess fuel) and that may help in your flame shooting quest. Haven't tried it, but have fun with it.
