Now, what Ray was telling you want to save your money, go to a junk yard and get a plain jane stock headlight cover. Take that home, and cut a hole in it. Use some aluminum to fashion a duct onto it, and use that. If you're creative, you can make it look factory.
Yes, adding an aluminum box around the air filter and adding a headlight cover to vent in fresh air qualifies as cold air induction to me. Just taking off the stock airbox and plopping in a HKS filter does not. Simple enough?
