well injectors have nothin to do with aux. ports. an to clean them you dont have to tear the engine down completely you do how ever have to take ht eentire intake off witch usally can prove to be a real bitch. all though the cats could be a problem i dont think a mazda dealer would try to make you get a complete rebuild having not checked them. but an easy way to tell if they are froven is just push down on auctuator rod an if it moves down then ur good if it wont then ur screwd. my opinon is that if they are seized just leave them. you arnt missing alot. unless you have money to throw around then go for the rebuild.. but if they are extremly hard to move then you do have 2 options. leave them how they were or take the acutaor off an zip tie them open. i ziped tied mine open an it works fine, there is a slight loss in low end but hardly ever drive below 3k anyway. or you can experiment with it. whatever you do good luck
