Take the power window switch out, apart, and clean off the dusty contacts and it works again.
Look inthe faq for cold solder inthe CPU near your left foot
I had 2 master cylinders fail like you have in 3 years. They are not very expensive rebuilt and not hard to change and not uncommon failures
So yeah, I agree with you.
