ECU / Fuel System Upgrades (still under re-construction)

The stock ECU's can normally safely handle 3-4psi of boost above stock before preset fuel cuts come into effect. With the ECU fuel cut off defeated, you stock fuel system might safely handle up to 12psi of boost. Beyond that, you are going to need some fuel to handle the extra boost pressures. By this time, you most certainly need to know exactly how far you plan to modify your car. These systems are NOT cheap, so getting too much or too little of a fuel system could end up being very costly. Non-adjustable systems and ECUs usually don't effect drivability but the computer programmable systems might cause you to lose some of your everyday drivability. Above 10-12psi with a stock turbo and IC or if you plan to upgrade your turbo, you will need to consider a fuel pump upgrade and quite possibly additional injectors to handle the needed extra supply of fuel.
